Designers Graeme Fidler and Michael Herz (previously designers of Aquascutum) in their second season costumes designed for Bally, chose to use a variety of clothing for social activities after skiing to present fashionable charm to continue its traditional Swiss style. The windbreaker with fur-trimmed windbreaker and climbing high-top shoes all show a delicate balance between the rough slopes of the Alps and the luxury of the metropolis. Geometric mesh themed motifs (perforated leather, or used as a photographic print) as well as the re-education of velvety velveteen jacquard fabrics in powerful shades all reference and modernize traditional fabrics from the region. Most of the hemlines are in the middle of the calf, and the light, asymmetrical skirts draw on the designer's long, lazy silhouette last season.
