McQ McQueen 2019 spring and summer series men's new style

The McQ 2019 Spring/Summer collection is inspired by the American punk band The Cramps and is the iconic spiritual leader of the McQ brand. The blues and rock styles blend, vintage and modern. Checkerboard and straight-strip prints are taken from surf rock and skating track design from director Kevin Smith.

Unique color collocations and texture layouts and materials have a strong surrealist style, designed from the collection of The Cramps's collection of posters, dreams of grotesque.

This season's men's collection is inspired by Jim Jarmusch's film Mystery Train, a pilgrimage to Memphis. The sharpness of the 80s collided with the long-standing sentiment of the 1950s, encouraging people to walk out of the comfort zone and enjoy loneliness but not the loneliness.

Combining the feelings of the film, this season outlines with soft lines, reflecting the gentle and passionate feelings of the 50s; the simple and intuitive sports suit design reflects the angular attitude of the 80s. The design of the jacquard pays homage to the romantic illusions of the old surfers, and the faded denim is a symbol of outdoor sports.
