According to the “Notice of the State Council on Further Strengthening the Elimination of Outdated Production Capacity” and the Notice of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on “Implementing the Target Tasks of the Industrial Sector to Eliminate Outdated Production Capacity in 2010”, before the end of September this year, the Tianjin Iron and Steel Industry will eliminate outdated ironmaking capacity of 1.4 million tons. The building materials industry needs to phase out outdated cement production capacity by 600,000 tons, and the textile industry must eliminate 10 million meters of printing and dyeing cloths. This involves the two iron and steel enterprises of the company, the Friends of the Group Tianfeng Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. and Tiangang United Iron and Steel Co., Ltd., Chaofeng District, Baodi District. At present, these six companies have all shut down the backward equipment, dismantled the backward production line, and completed the phase-out task of the state in advance. Among them, printing and dyeing cloth eliminated backward production capacity of 25 million meters, exceeding the 10 million meters task assigned by the state.
