Shenzhen textile and apparel industry increased by 2.25 times

According to the economic data of Shenzhen in the first half of the year and the survey results of the statistics department, Shenzhen's industrial growth rate further increased in the first half of this year. Among them, the industrial added value above designated size was 291.253 billion yuan, an increase of 7.7%, which was slightly lower than the growth rate of GDP. In comparison, the revenue of small and micro industrial enterprises below the scale grew faster. According to incomplete statistics, in the first half of this year, the main business income of Shenzhen small and micro industrial enterprises increased by 8.3% year-on-year, and that of export products increased by 10.9% year-on-year.

However, while small and micro enterprises increase their revenue, their profitability needs to be improved. According to a survey conducted by the statistics department, in the first half of this year, more than 30% of the sample companies face losses, affecting many industries such as the textile and apparel industry and special equipment manufacturing. Among them, the textile and apparel industry suffered the most serious loss, with the loss amounting to 2.25 times year-on-year growth.
